Not enough Visitors from Canada

Are only 10% of the visitors from the USA

25,676 in 2011 as opposed to 213,986 from the USA (source: INTUR)

Costa Rica Figures (2010) are:

Canada 119,654 United States 830,993

I don’t think these Rouge flights are new at all. They may be the old Air Canada flights that have been transferred over to kick start a new Air Canada “Economy Airline”

They can go to Liberia and cross at P. Blancas.

quality not quantity… new

Canadians are more likely to have 4-6 week vacations, the economy there is better than it is in the USA, and they are nearly all motivated to get out of the snow whereas in the States, less vacation time, worse economy and for many, the winter is milder.

And to the crux of “not enough visitors from Canada…” Canada sent 945,248 visitors to Cuba in 2010 and didn’t look it up but I’m sure millions to Mexico. One plane a week would be ~15,000 per year. Sounds doable.
