The rest of the family
When I moved back to Nicaragua after a few years of living in Newport Beach, California, I experienced something interesting each time we had a new visitor come and see the farm. Whether friends, family, or simply the guy from the telephone company, they would enter our gate, walk into the house, and when they came to the south side of the house they would see our view and have a reaction like “Wow, what a tremendous view, how beautiful!”
I eventually decided that we should try to share this unique location and setting of our farm, and took on the challenge of converting the residence into a functioning bed and breakfast that would offer a great atmosphere, top-notch personalized service, mini-resort-type of facilities, and good value for the traveler’s dollar, peso, euro, cordoba, or what have you. We invite you to come and see for yourself if we have been successful in that endeavor.
Mike is a professional eLearning instructional technologist, performance consultant, and in general, someone who helps people leverage technologies to improve learning, performance, and knowledge transfer throughout their organization. If that doesn’t mean anything to you don’t worry. I know about training, computers, databases, and how to put it all together with people so that they can learn and master new skills and such things. While I am still doing that work on a project basis (i.e. independent consultant), I have now added innkeeper to the mix.
I am looking forward to the challenges and am committed to helping people discover their own Nicaragua. I hope we can make that happen for you, or at least get you started.
